Eco-wheels.com is the trading name of Eco-Friendly Transport Ltd, which specialises in finding alternative transport solutions that are more economical and more environmentally friendly than cars without the many disadvantages of public transport.  For many occasions a small motorcycle is an ideal option, giving the door to door convenience of a car with the added benefits of dodging queues and reducing journey times, at incredibly low running costs (£15 road tax, over 100mpg, free city centre parking, low insurance).  

If, like most of our customers, you are new to motorcycling, we can help you get on the road with the minimum of fuss. Our staff are happy to discuss your requirements with you, suggest a bike which would be most suited to your needs, organise any training required and point you in the right direction for reasonable insurance quotes. We also have an extensive range of helmets, clothing and accessories, and comprehensive workshop facilities – we are literally a one stop shop to get you on the road and keep you there. As most of our bikes are pre-registered you do not have to wait for the paperwork to arrive from the DVLA - our bikes are available for immediate delivery. We also sell bicycles and the latest electric cycles for shorter journeys and even lower running costs.

Eco-wheels.com is not a solus dealership and therefore we are not restricted to offering a few models from onemanufacturer at inflated prices. When finding suitable bikes for our  customers we have three main criteria: Is the bike of satisfactory quality? Is it reasonably priced? Are spare parts available?         If the answer to all of these is ‘yes’  then we will promote the bike. The first bike we stocked in 2003 – the Hartford Legion - was later voted best value 125cc motorcycle in What Bike? magazine 2005.

In the 1960’s imports from Japanese manufacturers outstripped demand for British products. Now the challenger is China. Sales figures for 2006 show that the No 1 best selling moped in Britain is the Baotian BT49/50QT, made by the Jiangmen Huan Group. Eco-wheels.com is keen to promote these exciting new products emerging from the Far-East and that is why we have joined the Chinese Motorcycle Dealer network.     

The Chinese Motorcycle Dealer network was founded to facilitate the growth in demand for Chinese motorcycles and are now are the leading UK importer of Lifan, Jianshe, Baotian and Kaisar products. Having two offices in the Chinese provinces of Chongqing and Zhejiang, where most of the vehicles are made, the network is in a prime position to maintain daily contact with the major manufacturers so when a new quality model is released, they are the first to know. They also provide the reliability that traders need by maintaining stock in their 36,000 sq.ft. warehouse, shipping over 1,000 vehicles into the country per month to supply the huge demand for these machines.
